Agricultural belts probably perform in the toughest environments a belt can work in. Continuously being exposed to aggressive media such as dirt, dust, water and all manor of other external elements, agricultural belts have to transmit large amounts of torque for long periods of time without fail. Belt replacement on many machines is not a quick process especially if you’re stuck in the middle of a 2000 hector field.

Agricultural belts tend to be wide in construction in order to cope with the continuous high power throughput but essentially they use the same construction methods as employed by automotive and industrial belt designs.
