FAG Bearings - Friedrich Fischer founded the
company in the late 19th Century. The inventor of the ball grinding process, Friedrich
Fischer designed this device which permitted series production of high-precision, hardened
steel balls of uniform size. His revolutionary invention was the historical beginning of
the rolling bearing industry worldwide. FAG have helped bring many new ideas to the bearing industry and are recognised as one of Europe's finest manufacturers. Currently INA have taken a majority stake in FAG in order to further their strength in this sector.
