How do you send my goods out?

AHR always confirms the appropriate method of shipping before an order is entered. This way no one receives any nasty surprises in terms of fright costs etc. If we are shipping the goods to you we will normally use a major carrier such as FEDEX. If your shipment is heavy then we will use a company such as Charles Gee. Of course you may have your own shipping agents who we can work with.

Can I track my shipment?

If you use one of the primary world shipping agents then you can conveniently use our tracking page to keep tabs on where your packages are.

Do AHR ship to my country?

AHR ships to virtually every country. Obviously world conflicts can bar certain countries at certain periods. Certain products are forbidden by some governments to particular destinations. AHR abides by all national and international requirements in this respect.

Who pays import duty in my country?

AHR does not pay any import duties or taxies. This is up to the receiver of the goods to pay.

Is there a limit to my shipment weight/size?

No, we have no lower or upper weight limits for shipments.

What shipping terms do AHR use?

AHR use standard INCO terms for shipping. See our INCO terms web page for specific details.

Can I place an order for staged shipments?

Yes, scheduled shipments can be made.

How long will my order take?

This can depend of several factors. If the item you have orders is stock then it will be shipped next day. If the item has to be brought into our facility then it may take from 2 to 10 days depending on the location from where it originates. Factory lead-time products will vary from 2 weeks to 50 weeks depending on the product type and manufacturer. We always endeavour to offer the best deliveries for none stock items.

Can I place my order online?

As yet we have no online order placement system for the following reason. Our products are specific industrial items that have many options and configurations. AHR also has a very wide purchasing capability across many bearing manufacturers; all of whom have different pricing levels. Because of this all our clients receive specifically tailored quotations by email or fax. Consequently, this tailored quote system does not lend itself to a "shop front style" online ordering system. This is constantly being reviewed as part of policy of continual improvement.

How secure is my information with AHR?

AHR retains copies of all emails, faxes and other communications with clients concerning sales orders. With regards to financial information such as credit cards and bank transfer receipts, these are properly destroyed once an order has been completed.

Can you take orders in different currencies?

Yes, we can take orders in US Dollars ($), Euro's (€) and of course GB Sterling.

Do AHR take credit cards?

Yes we do, see our payment page for more details.

Why don't AHR take AMEX payments?

AMEX (American Express) is very expensive to process and we feel that it would currently unacceptable to pass this extra cost onto customers.

Can AHR operate a Letter of Credit?

Yes, AHR have always operated LC's (Letters of Credit). For further details please visit our L/C guidance notes.

Do AHR offer credit terms?

AHR can offer credit terms but only under after certain factors such as a current trading record with AHR, external references and other factors have been checked.

Where are AHR's bank details so we can send payment?

Please see our payment page for further details on how to pay AHR.

Can AHR provide alternate brands for the same product?

AHR can usually offer many alternatives for a particular product but various considerations do have to be taken into account such as a customers qualified parts list (QPL). Customer QA approvals, Brand origin acceptance etc.

Is there a local agent in my area?

AHR does not have any world agents at present, as this would add to the cost of products sold.

What if I have a technical query about the product I have purchased?

AHR can provide you with direct support for the products you have chosen. We have trained staff who have years of experience in many fields relative to the products you have purchased.

Do you offer a quick way to place enquiries with AHR?

Yes, we offer two possibilities. You can either download our direct enquiry software or apply for a user name and password that will allow you to simply make enquiries online simply by entering part numbers and quantities.

Can AHR provide a certificate of conformance?

Yes, we can provide commercial and aerospace certificates of conformance.

Can AHR provide a certificate of origin?

Yes, although we reserve the right to add charges to your invoice for this service.

Are AHR's invoices satisfactory for international shipping?

Yes, our invoice details conform to all international requirements for the export of products.

Can AHR provide me with harmonized tariff codes for my purchase order?

Yes.
